Every employee undertakes our specialized patient transfer curriculum, which combines classroom knowledge, practical training, and online components to ensure we operate with the highest standards in the fast-paced world of healthcare.

New employee initial training, refresher training for continuous improvement, and ongoing training updates are critical to our success.

Our Training Curriculum

In addition to the Driver’s Licence and Occupational First Aid & CPR certification requirements prior to employment, all new employees must undertake our bespoke patient transfer training curriculum. Successful completion of the program and continuous learning is a requirement to ongoing employment.

“Interior Health is no stranger to the devastating impacts of climate change—notably wildfires and floods, which places healthcare facilities at risk. This has resulted in mass evacuation events of hospitals and residents of Long Term Care facilities. In these situations, we call upon SNT to support the evacuation of our LTC facilities.
