IN MEMORY OF MALCOLM WHITE – FOUNDER OF SN TRANSPORT LTD
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Malcolm White, the esteemed founder of SN Transport t/a Hospital Transfers, on Thursday 3rd October at his home in the UK. The profound impact he had on the healthcare community in British Columbia will form a lasting part of his legacy.
Having already built highly successful businesses in the UK and USA, Malcolm came out of retirement to found SN Transport Ltd. in 2003, with the intention of developing an innovative non-emergency patient transfer service in Canada.
Under Malcolm’s leadership, ‘Hospital Transfers’ continuously developed its range of services and, since 2009, has provided safe, reliable, and cost-efficient patient transfer services to the Health Authorities in BC. Today the company transfers over 140,000 low acuity patients a year and is considered an essential part of BC’s healthcare infrastructure.
After a long and storied career, at the age of 83, Malcolm decided to retire and return to his country of birth.
Malcolm will be sorely missed by everyone at Hospital Transfers, and we send our condolences to his family and many friends.
